Qualification and experience:

• SAICA, SAIPA or CIMA qualification or studying towards qualification

• Post-article experience

Main duties and responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Reporting to Financial Manager

• Ensure quality control and accuracy over all financial transactions, compliance, and financial reporting

• Review of Income Statement and Balance Sheet items monthly up to management accounts. 

• Reconciliation of all Balance Sheet items

• Review payments and reconciliations (VAT, suppliers, taxes, etc.)

• Make sure all daily, weekly, and monthly finance deadlines are met

• Assist business processes and internal controls to maintain and strengthen internal controls

• Assist in annual audit preparations, and queries

• Assist in taxation calculations and submission to SARS

• Assist with annual stock take procedures

• Assists with streamlining/automating systems and procedures

• Any other Ad Hoc queries from bank, general managers, etc.
