Providence Hospitality is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our team in Stellenbosch:

Responsibilities

  • Developing the Brand Guide and CI (Corporate Identity) for Providence Hospitality and its clients.
  • Overseeing the implementation of Providence Hospitality and its clients branding and the visual aspects of all marketing initiatives.
  • Designing all external and internal digital and print media marketing materials.
  • Creation of website wire frames and coordination of website conceptualisation with web development team.

Competencies Required:

  • Skilled graphic designer with a talent for producing marketing materials showcasing hotels and guest houses.
  • Ability to design a large volume of unique and high-quality creatives for a variety of unique brands under pressure.
  • Skilled creator of Corporate Identity branding documents.
  • Good people skills and ability to work in a team.
  • Exceptional administration skills.
  • Clear communication skills (both verbal and written).
  • Attention to detail.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Visual Communication Design, Graphic Design or equivalent.
  • 4 – 5 years of experience.
  • Portfolio required online or PDF provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Performance Areas:

  • Assistance in content management of social media channels specifically Facebook Business &
    Instagram.
  • Identify customers’ needs and gaps in our content structure and develop.
  • Manage Social Media channels with regular updates as well as paid advertising oversight.
  • Research industry-related topics to ensure content is relevant to current trends and target
    audiences.
  • Write clear marketing copy to promote various offers.
  • Generate, edit, proofread, and improve current and future content.
  • Advise on the development of social media applications and promotions.
  • Understand the mechanics of a variety of social media platforms: Facebook & Instagram primarily and also LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.

Competencies Required:

  • Ability to multi-task and be proactive.
  • Team player – Work closely with marketing manager, graphic designer, web developer as well as
    operation teams.
  • Exceptional writing ability and attention to detail.
  • High level of creativity and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator or other design software, SEO, Google Analytics and PPC abilities
    will be advantageous.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Experience in social media & content creation (links to current personal and professional platforms
    will be requested).
  • Experience within tourism, travel and hospitality industries will be advantageous.

Salary range: R6000 – R8000 per month depending on your experience.
